View and setup your quarantine

Outlook 2003 Plug-ins
Not only have we upgraded your E-mail from Outlook Express to Microsoft Outlook 2003 we have also added a Plug-in.  You will notice in the upper left hand corner of your Outlook window that there is a SPAM and a Quarantine button. 

Using your SPAM button
If an email comes into your inbox that is not a valid email (spam emails) highlight it and then click on SPAM button.  This will automatically add this email and any others similar to your spam list and you will no longer receive emails from the spammer.

Viewing your quarantine
With other spam protection out there you have to open your internet, login with username and password click on the spam box, and manually go through spam and add it to your black or white list (white being good email black being bad email).  Black and white lists don’t work that great at all because when you block one email another comes in just a tad bit different so you will still get spam messages.  That’s where your new quarantine comes in.


Using your quarantine
As stated over on the left your quarantine button is in the upper left hand corner of your outlook screen.  Click on it and it will take you right to your quarantine box.  Here you can go through what has been detected in your email that is qualified for being spam.  If you know that the email is %100 spam put a checkbox to the left of the message and click on delete selected message in the top right.  If you know everything in quarantine is spam click delete all in quarantine.   If a valid email comes into the quarantine put a checkbox to the left of the message and then click on allow and approve sender.  Perform send and receive in outlook and the message will appear in your inbox.  You can also allow messages to come through without approving them.  If you’re not quite sure about a message in your quarantine and you would further like to view the message you can and this email will continue to be marked as spam and put into your quarantine.

How to remove sCs protection gateway emails from coming into your inbox.
Getting two or three email notifications about your quarantine and would like to turn it off.  All you have to do is click on your quarantine button, open up preferences and click on turn off notification.  You will no longer receive these emails.
